CFA Society Bulgaria is a leading professional organization supporting the development of ethical and competent investment professionals in Bulgaria. Aligned with CFA Institute's global standards, the Society has been fostering a strong financial community in Bulgaria by promoting the CFA Charter.
CFA Society Bulgaria wanted to strengthen its digital presence among finance and investment professionals, expand its reach, and create a communication format that delivers real value, not just promotional updates. While regular posts performed well, there was a clear opportunity to build deeper engagement through expert-driven content that could reach members, candidates, and industry professionals across multiple channels — LinkedIn feed, email, and web.
The goal was to develop a LinkedIn newsletter that positioned CFA Society Bulgaria as a trusted source of professional knowledge and inspiration. We focused on finance-related topics and success stories from industry experts to connect with a broader audience of charterholders, candidates, and young professionals. To make the format more human and relatable, we leveraged the presence of a well-recognized community member whose interviews and insights could build trust and authenticity.

We launched the LinkedIn newsletter “Successful Stories”, featuring real career journeys of finance professionals in Bulgaria. Each edition shared practical lessons, challenges overcome, and advice for the next generation in the investment industry. The series was created as high-quality, topic-specific content tailored to the interests of the local finance community, combining personal storytelling with professional insights. The newsletter was promoted through both the official page and a prominent CFA Society representative, allowing us to reach and engage a wider audience in an authentic, human-centered way. The result was a consistent flow of meaningful, educational content that strengthened the organization’s visibility and positioned the CFA brand as valuable and relevant in Bulgaria.
Two of the newsletter editions became part of the top six best-performing posts of the entire year. One reached a 15.4% engagement rate with 713 clicks and 94 reactions, while another achieved an 18.9% engagement rate with 257 clicks and 97 reactions, confirming the format as one of the most effective for audience engagement and value.
